Fall is here! My favorite time of year.

Yesterday, after several days of struggling through cutting mats, glass, and framing, we delivered our photos to the 2009 Coast Redwood Art Association’s juried show in Crescent City CA. The last all photography show they had was 2 years ago, and one of my images was in the final cut of 10. The competition is very high at this show with many stunning photographs.

If you’d like to visit, the display will be from October 3 through October 30 at the Crescent Harbor Gallery, 140 Marine Way, Crescent City CA.

Plans are in the works, weather permitting, to do a fall color photo trip up through Springfield, along the McKenzie river, and over the historic old McKenzie Highway in mid October. This is one of the crookedest roads I’ve ever traveled! In one of my earlier posts, Lava Camp Lake is mentioned. We’ll head here again, then down through Sisters, and back over Santiam Pass to Clear Lake and Coldwater Cove CG. I just hope there’s no early snow!
