Update on “Tug”, found dog.

Update on the dog found in a trap in the wilderness. We checked all over the place and ran an ad in the paper. Thankfully, no one claimed him! No chip, no info on collar, and none of the local animal shelters have anything on him as a lost dog. He is now a member of our family!

He looks to be a German Shephard/Husky cross, now weighs 76 pounds, and is around a year old. I expect by the time he’s back to normal weight, it will be close to 100. Tug is very well mannered, gentle, affectionate and very playful. What a great find and we consider him our Christmas present!

  1. What a great story (Tug) where does he sleep now that he’s a full fledged member of the family

  2. Tug has worked out perfectly, and is definitely a member of the family. He has a comfy bed in the living room, but tends to sleep on the floor. Usually on the hardwood, but occasionally on carpet. He has a tendancy to find the narrowest spot and camp out there!

He is mad about riding in a car, and always wants to come with us, whether he gets to do anything or not. It’s a good thing we got rid of our Subaru a couple years ago and got a full size SUV, with him in there, if it was the Forester, there’d be no room for groceries!
